Job Description 

ADF Java Developer, with proven experience in Oracle ERP & HCM Cloud technology. The successful candidate will join our Bangalore based Oracle Cloud Technical Support team, forming part of Version 1’s ERP Practice. Candidate should be customer focused and process driven with great documentation skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support and quality assurance for a variety of customers

Design, develop and support integrations in Oracle ADF framework to Oracle ERP Cloud including making REST and SOAP calls, FBDI File Uploads.

Provide hands-on technical and development support for implemented integrations in Oracle ADF framework to Oracle ERP Cloud.

Gather and document business requirements on IT incidents and change work.

Document and manage technical specifications and software packages 

Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through negotiation and consensus-building 

Help ensure that initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling and management processes 

Manage on-time changes delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfaction 

Provide hands on analysis, design, testing, implementation and post implementation support utilizing prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques (AIMS/OUM)

Liaise directly with clients to ensure all requests for change are properly designed, assessed, prioritized, and managed through to completion.

Assist with transitioning clients into support post Cloud implementation projects and from competitors.

Identifying persistent problems and work with key stakeholders to address the root causes.

Support all aspects of Cloud Quarterly Releases from Impact Assessment through testing and defect support 

Creating test plans and coordinating testing with the different stakeholders.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a technical support analyst or similar role.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience with Java development using Oracle ADF framework

Experience of system interfaces (predominantly on a PaaS Cloud)

Oracle ERP Cloud SaaS Experience

Experience building integration in Oracle ADF Framework using REST/SOAP Services.

Knowledge of Oracle Interface tables in financial and procurement modules.

Hands-On Experience of XSLT

Hands-On Experience on data migration/integration methods i.e. SOAP and Rest Web Services, FBDI and ADF DI

Hands-On Experience on reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher

Hands-On development of packages and functions using SQL/PLSQL and exposing them as REST using ORDS.

Hands-on with development & unit testing of integration components & web services (SOAP/REST)

Technical requirements: Java core skills, JDeveloper, FBDI files, OTBI Reports, SQL, PL/SQL,  Oracle BI Publisher, & Cloud knowledge

Must have good experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions 

ITIL process Knowledge

Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot and support complex system customisations

Willingness to operate and progress in areas that are outside of previous experience

Ability to multi-task and prioritise across concurrent workload may be required.

Excellent written and verbal communication

Experienced user of defect tracking systems, including the extraction of key data for weekly reporting and KPI tracking.

Hands-On Experience on reporting tools such as Smart View and FRS reports

Technical requirements: BPM workflows, Application Composer, OBIEE/OBIA/OAC

Good Knowledge on building custom ESS jobs
